Credentials and Education

A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Pepperdine University and Newport Psychoanalytic Institute, Dr. Heller is currently a member of the Newport Center for Psychoanalytic Studies, where she is also a faculty instructor. She has been a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) for many years.

A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & Psychoanalyst in Newport Beach, California, Dr. Heller treats adolescents, young adults and adults. In addition to her general practice, including the treatment of depression and anxiety, specialization areas include: creativity; phase of life and developmental issues; chronic illness; trauma. LGBTQ community welcome.

Dr. Heller offers private consultation to licensed therapists and clinical interns seeking to develop analytic capacities and deepen the quality of their work.
